DELIVERY TERMS

At Control Systems and Semiconductor, we are committed to ensuring that your orders of control systems, automation parts, and semiconductor components are delivered safely, efficiently, and within the promised timelines. Our goal is to offer transparent and customer-focused delivery services that suit the needs of various industries and professionals who depend on us for quality components.

Please review the following terms to understand how we process, handle, and ship orders across domestic and international destinations.

1. Order Processing & Handling Time

Our standard order handling time depends on the product’s availability:

In-Stock Items

  • Orders for in-stock products are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • Once processed, you will receive an email confirmation along with tracking information.

    Backorder Items
  • If a product is on backorder, it means it is not currently available in our warehouse but can be sourced upon request.
  • For backordered items, the estimated sourcing time is 6 to 8 working days, depending on supplier availability and logistics schedules.
  • You will be notified with regular updates on the lead time once the procurement process has started.

    2. Shipment Methods

We offer a range of reliable domestic and international shipping services in partnership with trusted logistics providers such as FedEx, DHL, Aramex, and India Post, among others.

Domestic Shipping (Within India)

  • We use premium courier services for deliveries across India.
  • Delivery timelines vary from 2 to 7 business days, based on your location and selected shipping method.
  • Remote or out-of-delivery areas may experience additional delays.

International Shipping

  • International shipments are handled via express air courier services.
  • Delivery timelines range from 5 to 12 business days, depending on the destination country and customs clearance procedures.
  • Duties and taxes applicable in the destination country will be borne by the buyer, unless agreed otherwise.
3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are based on:

  • Product weight and dimensions
  • Shipping destination
  • Preferred shipping method (standard or expedited)

In some cases, we may offer free shipping on bulk orders or during promotional periods. You will be informed of any such offer before confirming your order.

4. Packaging and Protection

To ensure the safety of sensitive components such as PCBs, controllers, I/O modules, semiconductor devices, and sensors, we follow strict packaging protocols:

  • Anti-static packaging for semiconductor and PCB products
  • Shock-absorbing materials for fragile parts
  • Proper labeling with handling instructions
  • Tamper-evident seals to ensure product integrity

If you require special packaging instructions (e.g., vacuum sealing, wooden boxes for exports), kindly mention them at the time of order. Additional charges may apply.

5. Tracking and Notifications

Once your order is dispatched:

  • You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number and courier details.
  • You can track your order directly from the carrier’s website or through the tracking link provided in the email.
  • In case of delayed tracking updates, feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance.

6. Delivery Address Guidelines

To avoid delivery issues, please ensure the following:

  • Enter a complete and correct shipping address, including postal/ZIP code.
  • Provide a valid contact number to facilitate delivery coordination by the courier service.
  • For international orders, ensure your address complies with local import regulations.

We will not be responsible for delivery delays or loss of shipment due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the buyer.

7. Customs, Duties, and Import Regulations

For international orders:

  • Customs duties, VAT, GST, or other import charges are the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise specified in a formal agreement.
  • The buyer is responsible for ensuring the product can be legally imported into their country.
  • We provide all necessary shipping and customs documentation (invoice, HS code, country of origin certificate if needed) to facilitate clearance.

Please note: Any delay caused by customs procedures is beyond our control.

8. Delivery Timelines & Delays

We strive to meet our stated delivery timelines. However, certain factors may result in delays, including:

  • Product availability and lead time from suppliers
  • Unforeseen weather conditions or natural calamities
  • Courier service disruptions or strikes
  • Customs clearance delays for international orders

In such cases, we will keep you informed proactively via email or phone. You may also contact our customer service team for live updates.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If you receive a damaged package or suspect tampering:

  • Do not accept the parcel from the courier, or
  • Accept the parcel but sign the delivery note with “Received Damaged” status.

Immediately report the issue to us with photographic evidence of the package and product condition. In case of lost shipments:

  • We will work with the logistics partner to trace and resolve the issue.
  • If the package is confirmed lost, we will either reship the product or initiate a refund, depending on product availability and customer preference.
10. Self Pickup and Third-Party Logistics (Optional)

If you wish to use your own logistics partner or schedule a pickup from our warehouse:

  • Mention your preference during checkout or while placing the RFQ.
  • Our team will provide pickup timing, packaging details, and product readiness confirmation.

Note: All responsibilities for shipping, transit damage, and insurance in this case lie with the buyer once the goods leave our premises.

11. Special Instructions & Bulk Order Delivery

For bulk orders or sensitive/critical components, you can:

  • Mention delivery instructions, priority requirements, or multiple address shipments at the time of ordering.
  • Request insurance coverage for high-value shipments.

We are flexible and willing to accommodate such custom delivery needs on a case-by-case basis. We value your time and trust.
